We hope you are all safe and well, it was good news on Monday getting the new action plan for coming out of lockdown and I am sure we are all looking forward to getting back to some normality.
Good news too from China, as the factories are all back and up and running after Chinese New Year.
However, we are receiving news that the laminate prices are increasing daily and we are monitoring the situation closely.
We have been asked to make sure we are checking repeat orders for price and delivery, and this is very important as we do not want to disappoint customers at the order placement. We will do everything we can to maintain pricing but with the freight prices increasing too it can affect historic pricing.
Regarding heavy copper materials of 2oz and above, there is a global shortage and we have been advised in some cases that the timescale to buy material is 2-4 months. Can we ask that if customers would like large volume orders then please talk with us regarding delivery schedules so we can make sure the factory can support with the material requirement.
We will be working closely with the factories to get updated reports on the situation and we will keep you updated on this regularly.
